Gigot Movie Review Summary

Actors: Jackie Gleason, Kathleen Kath

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Gigot

Gigot (Gleason) is a deaf-mute who is an object of ridicule in his community. Everyone picks on him cruelly which, sadly, he doesn't seem to mind. Gigot has a big heart and kind spirit. He works, sweeping and cleaning to make ends meet. He routinely cares for the stray animals in his neighborhood. One night, he finds a prostitute and her daughter (Kath) out on the streets. He brings them to his humble cellar apartment and helps them. He and the daughter become friends, which could ultimately imperil Gigot with the cruel, gossipy neighbors.
