Girlfight explores three main themes: relationships between fathers and daughters, competing against someone you love, and overcoming odds. The film captures all of the relationships in a realistic way, especially Diana's first romantic relationship. The photography is well-directed and some of the lighting is very remarkable. All-around a good film.
