Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Girls Will Be Girls

Evie (Jack Plotnick) is an aging, untalented, alcoholic B-movie actress. Ever since she killed a family of four in a drunk driving accident, Evie's mediocre career never got back on track. Hungry for work, Evie will do anything to see her name in lights once more. Evie lives with her actress pal, Coco (Clinton Leupp), who weeps for the pregnancy she terminated during her wild college days. Coco also pines for "Dr. Perfect" (Chad Lindsey), the hunky OB-GYN who performed the abortion. To fill the void, Coco begins acquiring a succession of dogs, each of whom meet an untimely death. To earn a bit of extra money, Evie decides to rent out a room to the voluptuous Varla (Jeffery Roberson), an aspiring young starlet. Evie and Coco are shocked when they discover that Varla is actually the daughter of the late Marla Simmons (also played by Jeffery Roberson), an actress who committed suicide when Varla was a child. Evie and Marla were actually bitter rivals back in the day and when Varla starts landing acting jobs, Evie turns green with envy. The living situation begins to deteriorate when Evie's lawyer son Stevie (Ron Matthews) falls for Varla and Coco reconnects with "Dr. Perfect" (Eric Stonestreet) who doesn't seem to be perfection anymore.
