GREY GARDENS is a documentary directed in 1975 by Albert and David Maysles, Ellen Hovde and Muffie Meyer.

Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter are voluntarily secluded in their Grey Gardens mansion in out-of-the-way East Hampton near New-York City. Edith Bouvier is Jacqueline Onassis Kennedy's aunt but almost never leaves her house haunted by raccoons and cats. Both women live a pathetic life in their own reality filled with regrets and souvenirs.

One of the strangest documentaries ever filmed.
