Crack DEA agent Charlie (Neeson) has had one close call too many on the job and is suffering from fear, stress, and gastrointestinal troubles. While being forced to work his latest case, involving an investment scheme between an ice-tough Italian mob captain named Fulvio (Platt) and a couple of Colombian drug cartel thugs (incidentally gay), Charlie also seeks medical treatment and psychiatric help -- ending up sharing his troubles with some businessmen in group therapy! Although this 2000 movie (a first feature for writer-director Eric Blakeney, who had done only TV work before) is very uneven and pretty much went straight to video, Platt is terrific as always, there's some decent action and laughs, and it features one of the funniest, most unusual "meet cute" scenes ever: Sandra Bullock plays a medical technician who first encounters our hero while chirpily giving him an enema.
