Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2

The story picks up where the last movie ends as Harry (Daniel Racliffe) and his friends bury Dobby the Elf on the beach. They believe that a horcrux is hidden in Bellatrix's (Helena Bonham Carter) vault in Gringott's and asks Griphook (Warwick Davis) to help them break in. Griphook says yes asking for Gryffindor's sword in return. With Hermione (Emma Watson) transformed into Bellatrix, Harry, Ron, and Griphook go into the vault and retrieve Hufflepuff's Cup. They are discovered, Griphook takes the sword and the friends escape on a captive dragon. Harry sees into Voldemort's (Ralph Fiennes) mind and learns that the next horcrux is hidden in Hogwarts and has something to do with Rowena Ravenclaw. To sneak into the castle they are assisted by Dumbledore's brother Aberforth thru a secret passage from Hogsmeade. Harry returns to the castle much to the joy of "Dumbledore's Army" who have set up camp at the Room of Requirement. After confronting Snape (Alan Rickman), the Army brace for an imminent Voldemort attack and place protection charms over the castle. Harry speaks to the grey ghost, who is Ravenclaw's daughter who tells him about the diadem hidden in the Room of Requirement. Harry finds it but is cornered by Malfoy and his friends. Meanwhile, Ron and Hermione get a basilisk fang to destroy the Hufflepuff cup. When they reach Harry, they are chased out by a wild fire, and eventually destroy the diadem with the same fang. Harry looks for Voldemort and he's in the boathouse with Snape, who is killed by Nagini the snake. Snape dies in Harry's arms but he gets a tear from him. Harry goes to the pensieve and learns that Snape has been on his side from the beginning. Harry is the final horcrux and he must die as well. Voldemort announces that he will kill everyone, but if Harry faces him in the forest to end everything, he will spare the others. Voldemort strikes Harry with his wand and he is knocked down. Voldemort carries him back to the castle thinking he is dead. Battle ensues when Harry springs back to life, and Neville finds the Gryffindor sword in the sorting hat and uses it to kill Nagini, also a horcrux. Harry and Voldemort face off and Voldemort is defeated. Harry is the true owner of the elder wand since passing from Dumbledore then Draco, Harry was able to win it from the latter, so it was never really Voldermort's to control. Years later, Harry and his friends are shown as young adults, with their own families, and about to send their own kids to Hogwart's for their new wizard beginnings.

Best part of story, including ending: It is a spectacular end to the Harry Potter saga, and loose ends are tied, and many great moments are revealed.

Best scene in story: When Harry learns that Snape was his protector from the start, and he was just part of a grand scheme to fulfill the task that Dumbledore assigned him.

Opinion about the main character: His bravery and his loyalty to his friends. He is willing to risk everything for the good of everyone.
