Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) is being transported from Privet Drive to The Burrow by the Order of the Phoenix. Some order members take on Harry's form as a decoy, and soon they are attacked over London by deatheaters. At Bill and Fleur's wedding, Harry, Ron, and Hermione receive items from Dumbledore's will. Harry gets a golden snitch (the first one he caught) and Gryffindor's sword, Ron gets a deluminator, while Hermione gets a copy of the Tales of Beedle and Bard. The wedding has been compromised and they are again attacked. Later, they learn that a horcrux, a locket, is with Dolores Umbridge. The three friends, disguised as Ministry employees go to the Ministry of Magic to get it. After a chase, the three apparate into a forest and try to figure out a way to destroy it. Harry gets a glimpse into Voldemort's mind and sees him tormenting Gregorovitch, a wandmaker. Voldemort seems to be looking for a certain wand. Three friends move from camp to camp to avoid being captured. Soon Ron feels isolated and irritated by the two, so he runs away. The two then go to Godric's Hollow to find Bathilda Bagshot, a Dumbledore biographer. They see a mysterious symbol on Harry's parent's graves, and later go to Bagshot's house, only to discover that she is Nagini, Voldemort's snake, and are attacked. They escape to the forest, and Harry sees a patronus doe lead him to a frozen pond. Beneath is the sword of Gryffindor, so he dives in. Since he is wearing the locket, he is dragged down by it, Ron jumps in and saves Harry. They reconcile and they kill the locket with the sword. Wanting to know more about the symbol they saw, the three go to Xenophillus Lovegood who tell them about the Deathly Hallows. It is comprised of a resurrection stone, an invisibility cloak, and an elder wand. They are again attacked at Lovegood's place by deatheaters, and later captured, however Hermione disfigures Harry with a spell to disguise him. They are taken to Malfoy Mansion for interrogation, and find Luna Lovegood, Griphook, and Ollivander in the dungeons. During a duel, Harry gets Bellatrix and Draco's wand and as they disapparate with the help of Dobby, Dobby is fatally injured and dies. They reqroup at a Weasley beach cottage. Meanwhile, Voldemort is opening Dumbledore's grave to steal his wand.

Best part of story, including ending:
I like how all these familiar Harry Potter artifacts that he has encountered in previous stories turn out to be the powerful Deathly Hallows.
Best scene in story:
When Lovegood recalls the story of The Deathly Hallows, and you find out about their roles in the story.
Opinion about the main character:
His determination for his quest is relentless. But you can see him struggling with the challenge, and feel for his humanity.
