This is a cops and robbers film taking place in Los Angeles. DeNiro plays Neil McCauly, the hardened criminal who does scores. Pacino plays Vincent Hannah, the cop who takes down guys that do scores. 45% of the film is about McCauly, 45% of the film is about Hannah. 10% of the film is when you see DeNiro and Pacino together, and one of the scenes they are together is in a diner. Both are against each other, but both have great respect for the other person that is shining through. These two guys are obsessed with their work, and neither of them will stop until their job is done.

This movie takes place in LA, the city of lights, and with Di Niro and Pacino, you cant go wrong. Starting off in the first twenty minites is a small heist, a million six in barrar bonds. Pacino as the dediced cop is assinged the case. Pacino Know's this is a professinal status. Di Niro as the leader of the crew, they make no mistakes, acept one, having to exicute three guards. Setting up the big hiest proves to be more difficult and more heat than they thought. Heat is trully a crime epic, and definitly one of the best crime sagas ever made.
