Philippa is an english teacher who, tired of waiting for the police to act, decides to get rid of the drug dealer who's poisoning her pupils. She puts a bomb in his office but the bomb spares the dealer and kills four innocent people. Arrested, she must be questioned by the judge and the police.

Filippo, the carabinieri who translates the answers of Philippa, falls in love with her and finds a way to help her to escape from the law. Then he brings her to the dealer whom Philippa can finally kill in cold blood. Both lovers decide to leave the city and to head for the Italian countryside while the police is blocking the airports, the train stations and the main roads of the country.
