Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Hook

Peter Banning is a middle-aged man that does not have much room for leisure time and dedicate much of his life to his job as a financial advisor. There is not much emotional bonding with his wife Moira and their two children, Maggie and Jack. Banning frequently misses his son little league games and hardly pays attention to his daughter acting in the school play; as he direct much of his attention to calls on his cell phone. One day he has a duty to give a special honor to Granny Wendy, Moira's grandmother that raised him when he was a orphan. Peter is not happy about doing this and it pretty much forces him to visit London along with his wife and kids when could put more time in his work.

But the Banning family time together is cut short when Peter's children have been kidnapped from their beds but a clue left from the children's door is a note stating that Peter must come and look for his children and at the end, the note was signed by Captain James Hook. Banning is baffled by the whole news and mystery surrounding his children's disappearance and wants to know exactly who is Captain Hook. Granny Wendy confess to Peter that he is Peter Pan a character from many fantasy type stories. Peter quickly dimiss the story as he has no time for such nonsense.

Later on that day a lovely pixie named Tinkerbell introduced herself to Peter in the night, and whisks him away to Neverland, where everything is magical and the total opposite to the society Peter lives in. The once doubtful Peter now believes there is some truth to Granny Wendy's story and find out his past along his journey. But the main thing is to look for his children and with the help of Tinkerbell and The Lost Boys; a bunch of fun loving pirates that also help Peter rediscovered the good times he once had and also getting him back to shape to fight Captain Hook, teaching him to fly and gain back his innocence. Meanwhile Hook is doing whatever he can to win the affection of Peter's children, especially Jack, attending the boy baseball games unlike his dad. Much of Captain Hook dislike and his bitterness towards Peter is because he is stuck with a hook attached to his wrist rather than his hand, thanks to Peter.
