This is the story of two former enemies who managed to unite their members but are now faced with a common enemy that they have to fight together to defeat. Hiccup and his now best friend Toothless have managed to unite humans (Vikings) and dragons and are now living together in harmony. The two are inseparable and are always moving around together exploring new places and just being adventurous. It is on one of these escapades that they come across something that changes the course of their lives. They discover some hidden ice caves which houses a new breed of dragons and a human who is training them so that he can use them in his mission to take over the world. Hiccup, at the beginning is being requested by his father to be the chief of the Vikings but he declines the offer. After the new discovery however, he has to take charge and lead the way. The most challenging part is when together with Toothless they have to convince the dragons that the breed living in the ice caves are not up to any good. They have to work together to win this battle and remain in their territory which the new dragon rider, Drago Bludvist is intending to take over. The dragons accept to take part in the battle especially after realizing that Drago Bludvist has been kidnapping their kind and brainwashing them so that he can use them in his mission to take over the world. Along the way, Hiccup is reunited with his mother who has been missing for a long time and who is an experienced fighter. Together with other friends and the dragons they are riding on they fight and defeat the Drago Bludvist and his army of dragons hence protecting the whole world from invasion.

I like this story because it shows harmony between two different species and their working together saves the whole world.
Best scene in story:
My favorite part is where Hiccups reunites with his mother since this gives him renewed strength to even fight harder and they end up winning the battle.
Opinion about the main character:
Hiccups is a determined young man who purposes to fight to his last breath to protect the relationships he has created between humans and dragons and also to protect the whole world from invasion.
