Bruce Willis is Hudson Hawk, a notorious cat burglar who has just been released from prison. His parole officer immediately bribes him into stealing some priceless Leonardo DaVinci artwork. After being kidnapped and taken to Paris, Hawk is forced to steal more DaVinci materials which a sadistic couple (Grant and Bernhard) intend to use to make lead into gold.
