Detailed plot synopsis reviews of I, Frankenstein

Frankenstein the monster now walks among us killing demons while the demon-angel war rages, he is recruited by both sides for his undead qualities. In the 18th century, a scientist Victor Frankenstein creates a monster so wretched he curses it and it in turn kills his wife. He has pieced together a creature from dead parts of people, an abomination that must be destroyed. As he pursues it through the Artic, he dies from the bitter cold. His creation is devastated by his master's death, and he buries him out of respect.

During the burial, he is ambushed by two demons, but two gargoyles come and rescue him, and he learns that the gargoyles are really angels. They belong to an order of angels that must fight on earth to rid it of demons. They use weapons that have their holy seal. The angels have a Queen, Leonore, and a commander, Gideon. They christen the monster "Adam," and he is asked to join them. He refuses. He is sent on his way and given two holy blades.

Two centuries pass, and Adam now walks in present day, still fighting demons who have a vested interest in him. Their leader, Wessex, a billionaire industrialist, wants him captured for his living properties, and he has a scientist named Terra spearheading his project. Wessex wants to resurrect his fallen demons using the same science used on Adam.

When Adam is attacked in a club and causes the death of an innocent bystander, the angels imprison him in their cathedral for risking the discovery of their existence. However, the demons attack the cathedral, taking Leonore hostage and killing many angels. Gideon wants to formulate an exchange, offering Victor's journal in return for Leonore. Gideon and Adam get her back safely.

Meanwhile, Adam discovers Wessex's plans, and finds the empty bodies of fallen demons, awaiting their resurrection. He is also recruited by him but tells him no. Adam then kidnaps Terra and tells her about the centuries-old war that's happening. Wessex's best soldier Zuriel arrives to take Adam but Adam kills him. Adam is the key to the experiment, and Leonore orders Gideon to kill him. But in the ensuing battle between them, Gideon is killed. Adam has taken the journal and disposes it to rid its secrets forever. The angels are now chasing Adam, who then leads them straight into the demon lair, climaxing into a raging war.

Deep in the labs, the experiments have begun, as Adam and Wessex fight to the finish. Adam slices the holy symbol of the angels on Wessex's chest, decimating him and his army. The whole building is crumbling as the angels sabotage the experiment that is powered by a giant electrical cylinder. Adam and Terra get out.

Adam walks the earth searching for demons, and vows to defend the human race which he is now a part of.
Best part of story, including ending: I find it a cheap re-invention of Frankenstein's monster whose only use to the forces who covet him is his brute strength and viciousness. Plus Adam isn't really a monster, but a good-looking vigilante.

Best scene in story: When Adam leads the angels to the demons, for an imminent gigantic battle. They are flying in droves overhead, while the angels in gargoyle form await them.

Opinion about the main character: Adam is searching for his purpose in life, struggling if he's good or evil.
