INDISCRETION OF AN AMERICAN WIFE is a movie directed by Vittorio de Sica in 1953.

Rome, Italy. The main railway station. Jennifer Jones tries to catch the next train to Paris. She has decided to leave her Italian lover Montgomery Clift and return home in Philadelphia to her husband and her little 7 years old girl. But Montgomery shows up at the last minute and she gets out of the train. She will spend the next hour trying to decide what to do : to stay with Montgomery or to catch the next train.

The movie lasts 120 min. in the european version but was edited by David Selznick to 63 min. for the U.S. audience.
