Andreas and Claire had a love affair 40 years ago. Now Andreas has just learned that Claire is living in his neighborhood. He writes to her and sees her again. Both, despite the fact that they are 70 years old and that Claire is married to John, are still intensely in love. While Andreas, a widower, hasn't any difficulty to introduce Claire to his daughter, Claire must face his husband and his son who can't understand her attitude.
