Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Ivan the Terrible Part I

First part of the unfinished IVAN THE TERRIBLE trilogy, PART ONE was shot in 1943 in Russia by Sergeļ Eisenstein. Ivan the Terrible is presented as a Tsar fond of his people but who has to fight the Boļars, the ruling class of the Russia of 1550. Great use of the expressionist method by an always inspired Eisenstein who managed to please Stalin and the movie lovers in the same time. A classic.
