A girl's best friend turns into a boy-eating monster. Best friends Needy and Jennifer go to a bar to watch a rock band, when a fire breaks out, the two get separated. Later, Jennifer goes to Needy's bloodied and not herself, Needy finds this very strange. In the days at school, Jennifer appears sickly, but after a few days, returns to her normal beautiful self again. It turns out that Jennifer has been seducing boys and then eating them. One night at Needy's, she confronts Jennifer about what is going on. Jennifer confesses that on the night that they were at the bar, the band took her to the woods to use her as a sacrifice for an occult ritual that would make the band famous. She was stabbed but she walked out of there alive. Needy tries to make sense out of everything and researches books that reveal that Jennifer is controlled by a spirit that feeds on men to survive. At the school dance, Jennifer seduces Needy's boyfriend and kills him while Needy tries to save him. Needy then goes to Jennifer's house, and kills her best friend. She is caught in the act, and is sent to a mental hospital. Apparently during the fight, Needy was wounded by Jennifer, thus transferring some of her powers to Needy. Needy escapes the hospital, and tracks down the rock band to kill them.

Needy is the "boring" friend who plays second fiddle to Jessica, but she finally asserts herself.
