Nora is a 35 years old woman in charge of an art gallery in Paris. Her 10 years old boy lives with her father in Grenoble since the death of his father. Now Nora is visiting them and learns that her father suffers from a devastating stomach cancer and has only a few days left to live. She will spend the next days with him trying to reorganize her emotional life and the future of her son during her father's agony.
Meanwhile, Ismaël, Nora's ex-companion, must face an embarrassing situation. He's been put into a mental institution and is breaking his back to try to convince the different psychiatrists he meets that he's not insane. But his relative eccentricity is not an asset in this situation and he must ask his lawyer to help him.
