In a small town in Maine a man is killed by a crocodile, but the other residents believe it was something else. A couple of scientists are called in to research this attack and discover that a crocodile was behind it. Now the two scientists and the town's people have to work together to kill this crocodile.

Rumor of a lake creature killing people in a quiet little town in Maine causes four unlikely people to work together to discover what they are up against. A local sheriff, Dept. of Game and Wildlife officer, scientist, and eccentric alligator expert sarcastically interact and cross paths with a feisty old woman while tracking down a beast that is much more than they could ever have imagined.
