Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole

The legend of the guardians is a story told to young owls about the great war between the evil "Pure Ones" and the guardian protector owls. A family of owls live in the forest together. Noctus (with the voice of Hugo Weaving) is the father, Marella (with the voice of Essie Davis) is the mother, Soren is their younger son (with the voice of Jim Sturgess), Kludd (with the voice of Ryan Kwanten) is his older brother, Eglantine (with the voice of Adrienne DeFaria) is their young sister and Ms. P (with the voice of Miriam Margolyes) is a snake who is the nanny that takes care of them.

While rough-housing the two young owls, Soren and his brother Kludd, fall from the tree. They are captured by the Pure Ones and taken away to their secret camp. They are enslaved and made to pick metal flecks out of the dirt which are collected to be used to harm the other owls. They meet an owl called Gylfie (with the voice of Emily Barclay). Soren and Gylfie escape. They go on an adventure together to find the Guardians to warn them about the evil plans of the Pure Ones. On the way, they fight off a pack of crows that attack them.

When they find the Guardians, they have trouble at first convincing them about the threat of the Pure Ones. The Guardians send scouts to investigate. They fall into a trap, and most are killed. One escapes. He returns to tell what happened which begins a war between the Guardians and the Pure Ones. They have a big battle in the forest which catches on fire. The Pure Ones use the power of the metal flecks against them which almost defeats the Guardians, but the Guardians overcome them in the end.
Best part of story, including ending: The talking owls each have distinct personalities which makes them all very interesting.

Best scene in story: I like the scene when the owls learn to fly in a storm and use the strong winds to their advantage.

Opinion about the main character: Even though Soren's brother Kludd turns against him, it is admirable when Soren still tries to save his brother as he falls towards the flaming forest.
