Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Little Children

Suburbans who are unhappy with their marital lives engage in a torrid affair. Sarah is a housewife married to a guy addicted to porn, while Brad is a guy with a controlling wife. They have loveless marriages and they meet at the playground where their kids play and they have an instant attraction. Brad has a friend, Larry, who is bent on having the neighborhood child molester Ronnie kicked out of the burbs. Anyway, after flirtatious occasions, Sarah and Brad have an affair. Both are in need of something missing in their lives, Sarah, someone to appreciate her, and Brad, the thrill of feeling alive and young again. When Brad misses an appointment to see Larry, Larry becomes very upset and starts to antagonize Ronnie who lives with his elderly mom. His mom suffers a heart attack and dies because of it. Meanwhile, Sarah and Brad are planning to run away together, and plan to meet at the playground. At the playground, Sarah runs into a distraught Ronnie, and realizes that she cannot leave her family. Brad, on the way to the playground gets into an accident, is rushed to the ER, thus canceling the rendezvous. Larry is guilty over what happened with Ronnie, and finds him at the playground, having castrated himself for being a molester.

Best part of story, including ending: It's a really dark movie about what happens to regular people when they get really bored with their lives.

Best scene in story: When Sarah wears her red bathing suit to seduce Brad.

Opinion about the main character: Sarah is a sad human being who only wants to be needed.
