Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Lockout

A CIA agent in the future, Snow, is placed under arrest. A fellow agent had uncovered secrets about someone leaking state secrets from within the government, and Snow is framed for his murder. Snow's contact, Mace, knows where the suitcase is that contains the information, but he has been locked away in a jail located in a space station orbiting the Earth. Meanwhile, the president's daughter, Emilie, is visiting the space jail facility in order to examine accusations that its methods cause dementia. When one prisoner, Hydell, manages to escape, he releases all of the prisoners, including his older brother Alex, and they take everyone hostage on board, including Emilie. Snow is given a bargain by his captors: infiltrate the space prison and bring Emilie home, and the charges against him will be lessened. Snow is hesitant to embark on what seems to be a suicide mission, but when he learns that Mace is being kept up in space, he realizes that not only could he save Emilie's life, he could also rescue Mace and prove his own innocence. He launches into space, breaks into the prison, and rescues Emilie, changing her hair length and color so that she looks more like a boy to the other prisoners. As Alex and Hydell begin killing hostages while attempting to secure escape, Snow looks around the prison with Emilie in tow, hunting for Mace. However, when he learns that Mace has developed dementia thanks to the jail's methods, he must find a way to secure escape from the prison with Emilie without getting found by the vicious criminals.

Best part of story, including ending: It's a great action film with a science fiction setting and plotline. The villains are hammy and hilarious, our hero is tough and full of one-liners, and the action is over-the-top.

Best scene in story: Snow is trying to escape his initial arrest to find Mace, and there's a huge futuristic motorbike chase, which is incredibly exciting and thrillingly paced.

Opinion about the main character: Snow is hardcore, not taking any flack from anyone, quick to throw a joke in an enemy's face just to make him angry. Pearce is a credible hero, and he's awesome in combat.
