They say that in life you can find love in the strangest places or you never know when you will find love and, that is the case in Love Happens. It is an intriguing story of a Ph. D and author Burke Ryan (played by Aaron Eckhart), whose wife was killed in a car accident. Grieving over his loss he struggles finding a way to get passed it. It's ironic that he struggles to overcome his grief when he is the author of a self help book which advises on how to get over the loss of a loved one.

He travels to Seattle (where his was from) to give a workshop where he meets Eloise (Jennifer Aniston). While he's supposed to be there with the intentions of helping others deal with their loss - although he doesn't seem to follow his own advice from his book particularly well - he ends up finding a way to deal with his grief by telling the people that he was the driver of the vehicle when his wife was killed. With this knowledge, Eloise and Burke's deceased wife's father (played by Martin Sheen) help him get passed this, as well as his father in law helping find love again.
Best part of story, including ending:
Didn't like or dislike it. But it was evident that when got to Seattle he was going to fall for Eloise.
Best scene in story:
When he told the people he was driver of the car when his wife was killed.
Opinion about the main character:
He's human. A lot of times we all give advice but we don't necessarily follow it.
