Grace and Charlie's brothel is called the Love Ranch and it is located in Reno, Nevada. Grace's mom was a madam which is how Grace knows how to own a brothel. Also being that their brothel is located in Reno, Nevada it is legally owned.
Their business goes well except for some out-of-hand customers and prostitutes who don't behave. Grace has excitement when Charlie gets a contract with a professional boxer, Armando Bruza (Sergio Peris-Mencheta). Bruza has fought with Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. He is from Argentina. Charlie is excited too but because he has a felony record he can't be Bruza's manager so Grace does it.
Grace is also amazed that Bruza wants to stay at the brothel. She also has amazement when Bruza shows attention to her since she is a bit older than him and married too. Originally due to this affection, she is not fond of it but it grows on her.
Bruza tells Grace he wants to be her partner in business. Charlie finds this out and gets very upset and altercations occur. This causes a disaster in their business and their relationship.
Best part of story, including ending:
I really liked this story because it had an interesting spin. Charlie was the one who brought Bruza in yet Grace and Bruza connected more.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene was when Bruza came to the brothel and got a trailer there. This was a good scene because it set the rest of the story up wonderfully.
Opinion about the main character:
I really like Grace because she was dedicated to her work and she worked with what she knew. However, I didn't like her infidelities.
