The Boston relatives are coming! The Kettles have left behind their fancy new digs in favor of their familiar farm. They play host to the visiting upper crust in-laws (Collins and Brown). During their visit, they suggest that their grandson be raised in the more appropriate surroundings. A second plot line involves the possible discovery of uranium ore on the Kettle property.

This is the third in the series of Ma and Pa Kettle films, which were based on characters from the 1947 film “The Egg and I.” The series was exceedingly popular and reportedly helped the studio pay for many of its “A” list productions.
