Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Miranda

Miranda is a quirky English romantic/thriller written by Rob Young. It stars John Simm as Frank, a lonely librarian in England. From afar, he admires Miranda(Christina Ricci) and Frank manages to get a date with her, but only for drinks she says. They wind up having an affair and Frank falls madly in love her. But Miranda is really a con artist with multiple identities and she takes off with out letting Frank know anything about her. He is initially upset but then sets out to find her. Miranda at this point is working on her next con, trying to sucker Nailor (Kyle MacLachlan) into giving her five million pounds for a fictitious hospital building. Frank shows up at Nailors office and wants to speak to Miranda. They meet later and he wants her to tell him she loves him, but she tells him to go away. Frank, initially feeling rejected by Miranda, realizes he loves all of her identities and goes to find her again. He helps Miranda escape after she pulls of the scam with Nailor but then Nailor finds her and kidnaps her. Frank finds her again and saves the day.
