Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Mouse Hunt

The Smuntz brothers inheireted a run down string factory from their father. Also they found an asset. An old house that they disagree on what to do with. A single piece of old string runs through the movie as a reminder of the legacy their father left them. Their father was a poor immagrant that came to this country with not much more than the clothes on his back and a dream concerning string. He wanted to make it in the string business and he did so. From the one piece of string he built an empire of such to leave to his two sons. And an old portrait of himself.

The Smuntz brothers were both determined to each have their own way. One wanted to keep the house and the string factory to honor the fathers memory and hard work and the other was more interested in selling everything and taking the money. The mouse enters. The antics of the mouse are hillarious as he outsmarts the brothers at every turn. The scene at the auction of the house is the great climax for the brothers when one brother has lied to the other about the outcome.
The mouse leaves them a gift that helps the brothers come to an agreement and the legacy lives on. The string proves to be more than just a piece of memory, it also holds the key to their future. A funny kid friendly, adult friendly movie that everyone should relate to.
