This movie describes the relations between the actress Nicole Garcia and the state employee Roger Pierre who's left his family in order to live with his mistress.

In the second plot, Gérard Depardieu is a self-made director competing with a new executive manager for leadership. Soon Depardieu, sent to a new location by his management, must leave his family.
