Andre is taking his estranged teenage daughter Nicole to the Bahamas for a vacation. They haven't seen each other in awhile, and Andre sees this as the opportune time to bond. Nicole does not like him and makes his life miserable by telling people there that he's her lover. She does this to also impress a local boy Ben. Andre does his best to get along with NIcole and get on her good side, unaware that the people at the resort gossip about him being a pervert. Nicole also tests the limits of her dad's patience by always making him look bad. Nicole and Ben have flirtatious exchanges, and Ben is livid at how Andre could take advantage of such a young girl. He and Andre somewhat spar for control over her. When the truth is revealed, Ben is furious for the lying, leaving Nicole heartbroken. Andre, setting aside his prejudice against the boy, helps Nicole make-up with him. Nicole and Andre also reconcile, and have repaired their relationship.

Best part of story, including ending:
It's a dad and daughter relationship, which also examines their cultural differences since Andre is French, and Nicole is American. It's fun watching them figure each other out.
Best scene in story:
When Nicole wears a thong bathing suit much to the dismay of Andre.
Opinion about the main character:
Andre is charming and is struggling to understand this peculiar being that is his teenage daughter.
