A female writer for the college newspaper is given the task of writing a story on the school's most popular student, who's been there for 7 years and has no interest in graduating. The girl tries to get a story, but the guy doesn't want to divulge. He falls in love with the girl, but she has a boyfriend. The student starts a prank war with the girl's boyfriend. The girl convinces the student to become more serious and finally graduate and the student convinces the girl that her boyfriend is a jerk and that she should be with him instead.
