Nick recently got dumped and has been moping over his girlfriend and all of the CDs that he made her which she returned to him. When he finds out that she has been seeing someone else he is heart broken and tries to move on. Nick starts hanging out with Norah, who's father owns a record company. Their interest in music unites them and one night they set out on an adventure with friends to find a band that is playing at a secret location.

My favorite scene is when they are driving around in the van trying to find the band fluffy.
