Magically the statue Venus comes into life in human form, developing human emotions for Eddie, though he is afraid to show his affection towards her. Venus spreads her love toward everyone around her, including Hatch co-workers who become couples, Eddie's friend Joe is secretly in love with Eddie's girlfriend Gloria, but Venus does not come around Joe yet so he can reveal his true feelings for her.
However Gloria is furiously angry at her boyfriend's huge infactuation in Venus and reminds them that they are in a relationship together and if he does not straighten up his act, it is over between them. Plus Savory is mad at Hatch and accused him for stealing the statue Venus though it is clearly shown that Venus left on her own to discovered more about Earth's living and her love for Eddie. Now the police is on Eddie tail, thanks to Savory and Venus is demanded to come back to Mount Olympus, which Jupiter has told Venus. He is appalled by the mismatch of a human and a mythical character. Venus wants to stay but Jupiter promises wrath if she does not return
