Marie (Moore) is a widow raising two daughters in the picturesque French countryside; she's also living another life as Marty, a well respected New York literary agent devoted to her work. She falls asleep in one world to awaken in the other. She knows that one world is real and the other a dream but which one is which? When love enters both her worlds Marty/ Marie must follow her heart and make a difficult choice.
