On the beach, they meet Pierre, with whom Arielle Dombasle had an affair before her marriage 5 years before. Now divorced and free, Arielle could resume her liaison with a still loving Pierre but she prefers to go out with Edmond, a womanizer who's cheating on her as soon as she's turning her back.
