In order to help his friend Mal Reese who owes money to the mob, Walker agrees to commit a robbery with him. But, as the loot is not as important as he thought, Mal shoots Walker and leaves with his mistress Lynne, Walker's wife. A few months later, Walker has recovered and has got only one idea in mind : take revenge on Mal Reese and reclaim his share of the loot.

He meets Lynne in L.A. who commit suicide on the same night. When Mal Reese accidentally falls from the rooftop of the building he lives in, Walker goes to Carter, Mal's employer and also a mobster, and claims his money. Carter agrees, organizes a set-up to get rid of Walker but is mistakenly killed by his own hitman during the delivery.
