Although this movie was in Japanese and used English subtitles, I found it very interesting. The subtitles are written in yellow and are clearly visible without distracting for the movie itself. The voices are not at all annoying.

Hideki and his family are happily on their way home from a family outing. He insists that he must stop at a phone booth to send an Email for work. His wife parks the car at the side of the road and as Hideki sends his mail, his wife attempts to get their small daughter's seatbelt unstuck. During the time the he is in the phone booth, he sees a strange piece of newspaper on the floor. As he picks it up, he notices the death announcement for his daughter which was killed in a firey car crash. In shock he finally realizes what it is, he looks up to see his wife coming for his help with the seatbelt and much to his horror, his car being hit by a dump truck and bursting into flames with the stuck little girl inside. This forms the basis of the movie along with "the newpaper of terror".
Several years after the loss of their daughter, time finds Hideki and his former wife both involved in the phenomena of the newspaper. It has haunted both of their lives and Hideki has begun to "meet" other people who have seen the paper as well as have more encounters with it himself. He fears it will drive him crazy. His former wife is busy researching the phenomena to try to find the truth behind the events. This leads them on a perilous journey into the dark, mysterious and dangerous world of the paper's power. They discover that if they try to change the premonitions great bodily harm can come to those who succeed.
