An old Indian legend claims that a person who eats human flesh becomes stronger and yearns for more flesh to eat. Eight soldiers guarding Fort Spencer, an isolated fort lost in the Sierra Nevada will be systematically killed and eaten by Robert Carlyle, a U.S. cavalry officer, once weak and feeble, who has discovered by chance that a human stew every night can do a lot for his health.
