CIA operative John Anderson Wade (Rutger Hauer) is murdered by Merrick (Mark Dacascos) during an operation to move bio-technology components. Merrick is a member of "Troika", an underground criminal organization that wants to take over the government of Russia. Wade is then resurrected with experimental bionic research from a shadowy government agency thats also a part of a conspiracy to penetrate the "Troika." John Anderson Wade escapes from the lab where he was resurrected and then spends the rest of the film hunting down Merrick so he can kill him and get his money back.
