Henry Turner is a high-class, successful lawyer whose family life is in shambles; he is cold and distant from both his wife and daughter, and focuses mainly on his work. One night, Henry stops by a convenience store to buy cigarettes and is shot during a robbery. When he revives he is a timid shadow of his former self and afflicted with amnesia. Slowly, with the help of his wife, daughter, and physical trainer, he has to rebuild his life and confront the kind of person he was in the past.
