Luke has just found out that the evil Darth Vader is his father. While dealing with it, he goes to Jabba the Hut requesting to unfreeze his friend, Han Solo. After rescueing him, they are sent on a mission on the moon of Endor. First, Luke goes to his master, Yoda to finish his Jedi training. When Yoda dies, he goes to Endor to start the mission. It seems the Darth Vader is using it to rebuild the Death Star. There, the droid C-3P0 is considered a god by the Ewoks. Then, Luke has his final battle with his father. This is an amazing end to the Star Wars trilogy. Although the weakest of them all, the music, special effects, and acting are still top-notch.

Luke, Leia, and Lando travel to Tatooine to rescue Han Salo, who was carbonized and taken into custody by the space gangster Jabba the Hutt at the conclusion of "The Empire Strikes Back." That done, Luke visits the Degoba system to complete his Jedi training with 900-year-old Yoda, with sad results, while the rest of the rebel forces prepare for one final battle against the Empire. A newer, more powerful Death Star is being constructed under the direct supervision of Darth Vader and the Emperor himself. Rebel spies have located it near the forest moon of Endor, from which body its power shield is generated. Our heroes have to deactivate the shield so rebel fighters can destroy this mega-weapon. Luke must confront his father, Darth Vader, and risk being pulled into the Dark Side by Vader and the Emperor. Although the character of Solo turns a bit silly/stupid in this one, and many folks find the little Ewoks of the Endor moon too cute, Hamill and Fisher look great in this film, which might also be titled
"The Redemption of Anakin Skywalker."

The triology is completed! This movie cops a lot of flak but I'm not sure why. The movie is full of action and adventure, with plenty of great special effects. The Star Wars saga has a satisfying ending - the empire has fallen!
Long live the rebellion!

Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia lead an effort to rescue Han Solo, before a last Rebel assault on the Empire's new Death Star. Massively enjoyable conclusion to the trilogy, with excellent action/adventure and outstanding special effects.

Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia are back in the final chapter of the Star Wars Trilogy. This time they are up against a second Death Star and the wrath of both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine. Joining the battle are the furry and loveable Ewoks.

Luke and Han Solo go toe to toe against the Emperor and the new Death Star. One of the best movies ever, if you skip the Ewok scenes.
