Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Ride Along

Ben is a short security guard with aspirations of joining the police academy and marrying Angela, the woman of his dreams. However, before he feels comfortable asking for her hand, he must earn the respect of James, Angela's brother on the police force. James has no time to deal with Ben; he is hunting down Atlanta's number one criminal, the mysterious Omar, a crime lord that no one has ever seen. When Ben insists that James give him a chance to prove himself, James offers to take Ben on a ride along, filled with annoying crimes that Ben isn't mentally prepared to deal with. When the Omar case inadvertently pops up along the way, James must begrudgingly seek help from Ben, and Ben must finally prove that he is man enough to earn James' respect.
