Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Rounders

A high-stakes poker player (Damon)loses big and promises his girlfriend to quit playing cards. His best buddy Worm (Norton) gets out from prison, and he's in debt from all his gambling. He gets his friend to lend him money so he can earn some more by playing cards, and even gets Damon's character to break the promise to the girlfriend and play himself. It turns out that the guy Damon's character lost to before has bought up all of Worm's debt, and they both owe him a lot of cash - and he wants it in very few days. Damon's character finds out that he'll have to play high stakes against this guy again to help his buddy, and realizes that the one thing he's really good at, is playing cards. He loses the girlfriend, but all is well in the end though.
