The Ambassador's daughter comes to the hospital. Her name is Soo Yung (played by Jingchu Zhang).   She makes Lee and Carter promise to protect her father. They go to a martial arts studio in Chinatown Los Angeles to look for the master who has a clue to help them. They fight a gigantic Chinese man to gain access to the Master. Lee asks the Master in Chinese for the contents of Soo Yung's locker but the Master says men came before them to empty it. They return to the hospital where Soo Yung is taking care of her father. Because there are no police guards there to protect him, they suspect the worst is about to happen. Lee gets under the sheet and pretends to be the father. They have a big shoot-out in the hospital. They capture one of Asian gang, who only speaks French. They get a catholic nun to translate. The nun translates all the swearing into French, while they interrogate the Asian guy. Under threat of being killed, the Asian guy gives them an address. They take Soo Yung to the French Ambassador at the French Embassy for safekeeping. When they bring her there, a car bomb explodes in front of the embassy. They go to France where the world's political conference is scheduled to occur.

In the airport, they are interrogated by the police. They have an argument with the taxi driver about how stupid and violent America is. They go to a gentleman's casino club in Paris. Carter tries to pick up a woman at the Baccarat table. Lee picks up a Chinese woman at the bar. When Lee goes upstairs with the woman, she attacks him. Carter listens outside the door and to Carter it sounds like they are having crazy sex. Lee runs out of the room. Carter and Lee get into a cab. The taxi driver is the same one as before and he is convinced by Carter to drive like a super spy form the American movies. They are thrown from the cab. Lee and Carter are captured.

They are taken to Lee's brother, Kenji, who meets them in the sewer. They escape by jumping down the stinking sewer pipe. They go to a fancy hotel. They check in to a nice room and clean up. Carter and Lee have an argument about what it means to be a brother of the other one. Carter buys Chinese food from a restaurant. Carter orders fried chicken delivered to the room by room service. Lee learns the bosses of the Chinese triad are thirteen in number, and they are identified in the list called “Shai Shen.” Lee must get this list to take down the largest crime syndicate in the world. They go to a theater to look for the bosses of the crime syndicate. Carter pretends to be the new costume designer who goes backstage to review all the half-naked women, who are performers in the show. Carter and Lee try to convince the lead solo performer not to go on, because she will be shot if she performs. She goes on stage in spite of the warning. Carter joins her on stage to block the assassins from shooting her. Lee joins in the act as well. They take her offstage while the gangsters shoot at her. They all escape the club and are picked up by the taxi driver from before.

They go to the hotel room. Carter is trying to have sex with the woman who has information about “Shai Shen.” She has the name of the thirteen Chinese Triad tattooed on the back of her head. When they give this information to the French Ambassador, they discover he is part of the corrupt organization. While there, they get a call from Kenji, Lee's Adopted brother, who tells them he kidnapped Soo Yung. They make arrangements to meet. Lee and Kenji fight, while Soo Yung is hanging from a rope over the street where she may fall many floors below. Lee defeats Kenji and throws him over the edge. Lee rescues Kenji from falling. Kenji attacks him again. Carter defeats two attackers using martial arts. Kenji and Lee both fall together. Carter defeats two more attackers. Lee defeats Kenji and Kenji falls to his death. Carter defeats the final attacker, who is the Chinese woman and he saves Soo Yung. More Chinese gangsters show up firing semi-automatic weapons. Lee and Carter run away. In order to escape the gun fire, Lee and Carter jump off of the Eiffel tower together holding onto a flag, which acts like a parachute. The French Taxi cab driver shows up at at he last possible moment, to save them by shooting the French Ambassador who wants to kill them. Carter and Lee dance away at the end.
Best part of story, including ending: This is a non-stop action film and at the same time, it is very funny. As sequels go, it is as good as the other two films which came before this one.

Best scene in story: I like the scene when Lee and Carter jump off the Eiffel tower holding on to a big flag that then saves them by them using it as a parachute. It is so ridiculous and so improbable, while at the same time somehow working and believable in the context of the film, and is very funny as well.

Opinion about the main character: Carter and Lee are perfectly mismatched as a team who works together in spite of their extreme cultural differences.
