Detailed plot synopsis reviews of She's Out of My League

Kirk Kettner is a nice guy in his mid 20's who always finishes last. Her currently works as a TSA security agent at the airport. He has low self esteem, is a non college graduate and allows his ex girlfriend to humiliate him. She lounges around at his house with his parents and her current boyfriend. His family does not support him and used all of Kirk's money on a brand new pool in the yard. Kirk has always dreamed of becoming an airplane pilot but feels insecure and lacks the drive to become one. One day at the airport, a beautiful girl named Molley McCleish walks in and is helped by Kirk at the check in to book a flight to New York. She forgets her phone at the airport security area and boards the flight. Kirk notices and decides to hold on to her wallet. Upon realizing she lost her phone, Molley calls and Kirk answers. She offers to take him out for a nice dinner so that he may return the phone to her. The following night Kirk arrives at the Andy Warhol Museum where Molley is. She begins to enjoy his company and Kirk becomes dazzled by her beauty. Molley gets invited to Kirk's family luncheon and this infuriates his ex girlfriend Marnie. She becomes quite jealous because of her beauty and interest in Kirk. Marnie now wants interest in Kirk again. Stainer Kirk's loser friend feels that Molley is way out of his league and rather than giving him good advice he offers him bad advice. Kirk's low self esteem makes him believe that there is no way a girl that is a 10 would fall for him, considering Stainer said to Kirk that he is a 5. Throughout the movie the friends of his realize it was a mistake to fill Kirk's mind with doubt and that he is deserving of being with a woman out of his league.

Best part of story, including ending: The movie is quite different and the roles are reversed. A beautiful girl falls for a geeky guy. I like the concept of this movie and its funny moments. The movie make for a fantastic comedy. I really enjoyed the characters as well.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene is when Kirk's friend Devon says, "I think there is nothing gay about it. The fact you are letting a straight married man shave your testicles. I think that makes you one of my most macho guys alive.

Opinion about the main character: What I like about the main character is how he is relatable. I'm sure many men have been in his situation. What I didn't like about his character would be his lack of confidence.
