Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Sliver

Thirtysomething single publishing executive Carly Norris (Stone) takes an apartment in an upscale "sliver" building in New York City. Upon moving in she finds out that the previous tenant, who bore a striking resemblance to her, died in a mysterious fall from the balcony. The investigation into her death yielded nothing. An other tenant, an older man, is soon found dead, from a fall in the bathtub. When other tenants begin to die mysteriously, Carly begins to suspect that a killer is in their midst. She narrows her suspicions down to the voyeuristic and charming building owner, Zeke Hawkins (Baldwin) whom Carly is having a highly sexual relationship with, or Jack Lansford (Berenger), a mystery writer with some strange qualities who enjoys lurking around corners in the building.
