A thief steals a 86 karat diamond from a Jewish jewelry dealer, but before he can fence it he's kidnapped by two pawn brokers. A Russian criminal kills the thief and takes the diamond from the pawn brokers. An American steals the diamond from the Russian. The American, the Russian and the pawn brokers come together. While the American's henchman is killing the Russian, the pawn brokers make off with the diamond. The American takes the diamond back, but the pawn brokers' dog swallows the diamond and runs away. Two other small time crooks find the dog. They get the diamond and take it to a fence who turns out to be the American criminal.
