Tom Beckett (Tom Berenger), one of best veteran Marine Snipers, is secretly assigned to assassinate a Columbian drug lord. When Beckett's partner is taken out, the government gives him a sidekick, Richard Miller (Billy Zane), who has never killed anyone (although he takes credit for it). Teamed together, the veteran Beckett and the newcomer Miller make their way through the jungle to find their target. The mission Beckett's toughest so far and it only gets tougher as they also are being hunted by a former solider that Beckett once trained.
