Charles Driggs (Daniels) is a dull, pleasant tax consultant who encounters an alluring, unpredictable woman (Griffith) at his usual lunch counter. On an impulse he hits the road with her and finds himself swept into an adventure that runs from kinky sex in cheap hotels to a high school reunion and meeting her mom ... and ultimately to her ex-husband, fresh out of prison (Liotta). A crazy and delicious fling turns into a deadly battle of wits and strength. Daniels is perfect, new face Liotta truly scary, and the often-annoying Griffith well cast and quite enjoyable in this one.
