When Newton's political consultants hear about it, they choose, with the tacit agreement of the secret services, to tell the press that Laura Newton has accidentally died while sailing with one of her teachers and to abandon Laura to her fate. Scott doesn't agree with this solution and goes to Dubai with the intention to find Laura and bring her back to Boston.
