It's the 80's and Brian has been accepted to a prestigious British university. Brian comes from a blue-collar town, so the upper-class scenario is a welcome change for him. He has a knack for trivia, and joins the university quiz team where he meets the gorgeous Alice, who is his teammate. They come from totally different social classes, but Brian is determined to win her over. Brian also meets Rebecca, a social activist who instantly becomes close to him. As he navigates his way through University, he is trapped between two worlds, his old and new snooty one. He also tries to decipher his feelings for both women. Soon his quiz show life parallels with his, since he is now faced with a bunch of difficult questions about love and family.
